Loft 41 has two sunless tanning options. Our versa spray machine is a self ran standup spray booth that sprays your body to your desired color. We have both a bronze and clear spray option each of which have three different levels of desired darkness. Our tanning experts can help you decide which color is best for you based on skin tone. Common questions
I want a spray tan but don’t want to look orange.
Everyone’s color processes different when getting sprayed. The DHA reacts with your skins PH and melanin. Not every spray is the same person to person. To ensure the best quality spray make sure you follow all the pre spray guidelines and for extra care you can use a pre spray cream that adjusts your skins PH to make sure its primed and ready for the perfect application and DHA development.
How long do I have to wait to shower after my spray?
All solutions vary and your consultant will let you know how long to wait. Typically sprays with bronzing require a 8-12 hour processing time. Clear solutions require a 12-24 hour processing time. Some quick sprays are 3-5 hour processing times.
I have a event, when should I get sprayed?
Best policy for timing is to get sprayed 2 days before your event. We recommend getting sprayed in the evening, so your processing time is easy and be done while sleeping without having to worry about getting wet or sweating. If your event is on a Saturday, Thursday night is best time to get sprayed as long as you follow all PRE and POST spray guidelines.
PRE TAN GUIDELINES-
-DON’T USE DOVE SOAP. The least amount of scent and additives the better
-Exfoliate and shave the night before your tan. If you have to shave same day don’t use moisture lined razors.
- Don’t wear lotion or deodorant the day of your tan, you need to come with a clean dry body.
-Wear lose/dark clothing to your appointment. Anything tight, including bra straps can affect the outcome of your tan.
- Don’t sweat or get wet until you're ready to wash off your tan. (8-12 hours for bronze/ 24 hours for clear)
POST TAN GUIDELINES
- Rinse off your tan with gentle soap
- Lotion twice a day, if possible, before and after bed, you want your skin as moisturized as possible to lock in that color and promote an even fade.
- No exfoliating
- Bronzers will get on clothing and bedding, but it does wash off.
